Brownies for All
The first thing people think when they start living healthy is all the things they have to give up and all the things they will have to go without. I am here to tell you that just isn't true.
Instead of giving up, what you have to do is make some healthy swaps. So you can still have the things you love. You have has to swap somethings out to make them healthy, and trust me taste isn't one of them LOL.
If you are anything like me, then you love to have a sweet snack every now and them. I am a total sucker for brownies and cookies. So one of the first things I had to find was some healthy options so I could snack on my brownies and cookies when I wanted. That's right you can still have a sweet tooth and be healthy. Lets make some brownies.
Lets Get Started:
3/4 c greek yogurt
2 tbs almond milk
3/4 c oat flour (rolled oats ground up in a blender)
1/2c cocoa powder
1/3 - 1/2 c sugar
1/3 c apple sauce
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbs chocolate chips
Here's what you do:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
In a large bowl, mix together everything but the chocolate chips. Mix until combined. Do not over mix or you will get cake batter LOL. Spray a 8x8 pan with cooking oil. Pour the mixture in the 8x8 pan and place in oven.
Cook for 15 - 17 minutes
Take out and sprinkle with the chocolate chips
