Smoothies for All

So sitting down to eat is magically and what not, but the reality of life is that most days we are lucky to have a real breakfast. Having actual food that you don't feel guilty for about 15 minutes after you eat is should be a way of life.

There are some days when a grab and go sandwich just wont cut it. So that is way we are given the precious gift of the SMOOTHIE. A smoothie allows us to get all the nutrients that we need in a breakfast need and the sweetness that we crave during the morning time (even though we pretend we don’t).

Cherry Delight

3/4 cup frozen cherries
1 kiwi, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup coconut water
3/4 tsp agave nectar
3 ice cubes
1 scoop protein powder (optional)

Berry Berry Bombshell

1 banana, cut into chunks
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1/4 cup frozen unsweetened blueberries
1/4 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 tsp peanut butter
1/2 tsp honey
