Let's Make a Fully Loaded BLT

Everything is good in moderation. Moderation is the key word, in LIFE. You can have all the fun you want but you have to know your limits. But since we already have starting using this avocado we might as well finish it. Like we already cut into to eat so we might as well cut some more off of it. It’s only right. Keeping the theme of DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches, I have an amazing Fully Loaded BLT sandwich recipe.

BLTs of the past are nice and simple but kind of plain. But we are adults so as usual, lets KICK IT UP A NOTCH. This is where the fully loaded and avocado comes in. By introducing a couple of new things, it makes the sandwich more filling and we won’t get hungry as fast. The main reason is that it taste amazing and you will want more.

So let’s get started:

¼ Avocado

2 eggs


Wheat bread – optional: croissant, wrap, other bread

2-3 strips of bacon

2-3 slices of tomatoes

3 leafs of lettuce

Here’s what to do:

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the bacon on a baking sheet and when the oven is pre-heated place in oven. This shouldn’t take long to cook so keep an eye on it.  Scramble the eggs and cook in a small pan with the butter. Slice the avocado length-wise. Toast your bread. Toasting the bread will firm it up making it easier to work with. Once the bacon is cooked it’s time to get to business.

To assemble: toast, avocado slice (half), eggs, bacon, tomato, lettuce leaves, avocado slices (other half), toast.
