How to make a Summer Smoothie

It is getting hot outside sooner than expected. I know that the first day of summer was officially June 21st but if you ask me it’s been hot since the end of April. The heat comes and goes but it seems to get hotter and hotter each time. This may seem wonderful when you think of all the fun in the sun and time spent with family and friends.

The reality is we still have to go to work, we still have responsibilities and things need to be done. So all that fun in the sun we dream of most time stays a dream. Don’t get too down on yourself. There are some things that we can do to remind us of happy days and times when we were carefree. Those wonderful things are summer smoothies.

Summer smoothies are a wonderful way to get a in some healthy fruits and veggies in and not even know it because it taste so GOOD!!! And the best part about summer smoothies is that KIDS LOVE THEM. Even better is that they are fun to make and don’t take a lot of time. If you haven’t noticed, I am HUGE on making things that taste great but don’t take forever. As an added bonus, they are actually filling. Im not saying they can be used as a meal replacement, but they do make for a great snack *wink wink*

So Lets Get Started:

2 Cups water

2 Mangos

1 cup Spinach

Here’s what you Do:

Add all to as blender and blend until smooth. Pour in a glass and drink
