This month we are on our WELLNESS kick. We always talk about fitness and healthy and eating right and blah blah blah. We never talk about wellness. Wellness is a HUGE part of healthy living. You have to make sure you are taking care of yourself on every level to successfully live a healthy lifestyle. So we're going to talk about wellness and how to practice it.
But what is wellness though? Like what is wellness really? We hear people talk about it all the time. We have been talking about it all month, but what is it. Wellness is defines as the stat of being in good health, especially as in actively pursing a goal. In this case the goal is living a healthy lifestyle.
While practicing wellness we are in an active process of becoming more aware of the choices we make. We are actively working towards becoming healthier and living a more fulfilling life. When we practice wellness we are working towards a state of complete physical, mental, and social well being. Keep in mind this has nothing to do with making sure we don't get sick and things like that.
In our practice of wellness we are making an conscious effort to develop ourselves as a whole. Taking this journey towards a better state of wellness we are searching for the tolls to help make us healthier and happier. We are discovering methods that work for us to use these tools to continue to grow and develop. Just like there is several different ways to live a life that makes us happy, there are also countless ways to cultivate an ever changing path of wellness for your life.
