How to Drop Pounds when you're in a crunch

So, whether we want to admit it or not, we made a ton of New Year’s Resolutions. If I’m guessing correctly the reality is sitting in that we may have bitten off more that we can chew. We decided that 2018 was going to be our year. We are planning on taking over the WORLD in 2018. We said we would travel more, save more, spend more time with family, and all that other stuff that sounded so good back in December.

Here we are in the second week of January and things just don’t seem as good. Travel plans are harder to come by than we remembered, its hard to save money when emergencies come up and getting all the family in the same room at the same time is almost next to impossible. Let not even begin to talk about making it to the GYM.

All the commercials and advertisements made it seem like signing up for a membership was the easiest thing in the world. Believe you me, I felt the same way. I went online and did my research. I looked at what the gyms had to offer, what was in my area, and of course PRICE. Once I picked the gym I wanted, I walked in super proud like I made the best decision in the world. Only to sit down with the sales people and be totally SWAMPED with “options”. At the time all I freaking wanted was to just the treadmill and the dumbbell every now and them. I didn’t care about all that other stuff they were yammering on about.

On top of it all, when was I even going to have time to go to the gym at all. Like how was I supposed to fit an extra hour of something else into my day. After getting off work and running all the little errands, I was beat. And that is the time that I was supposed to be getting changed to work out. Clearly, I didn’t thing this plan through LOL.

The good news is, I got a plan in place. It took some time but I got it. I figured out that LIST are your best friend. That if I made a list of all the things I needed, I could shop for everything in one day instead of running to the store everyday. I realized that If I packed a bag and went to the gym right after work, that I didn’t have to make and extra trip home causing me to get comfortable and never leave. Yea, I’m super guilty of that.

So, because I have made mistakes and learned from the error of my ways, you don’t have to repeat them. I have come up with a wonderful little list of things you can do to help you keep your 2018 fitness resolutions:
