What to eat to keep the Weight off

So it’s Monday again, and unfortunately I have wasted another weekend. I wasn’t as productive as I should have been and now I am paying for it like none other. There were so many things that I wanted to do this week to get not only on track but ahead of the game. I had it all planned out in my head. And a couple of those ideas actually made it to paper on my To-Do List. But that’s as far as I got. The reason you ask. It was so freaking HOT. Not only was it HOT it was so MUGGY.

The combination of HOT and MUGGY was a recipe for nothing getting done. Walking from one room to the other took every piece of energy I had and made me just want to take a shower. I know you’re thinking “why not just go to the pool or the beach” that’s because the muggy came from it raining all weekend on and off. I know, now you’re thinking “Well, why not just take a shower cool off and get to work”. If I did that I would have been taking showers every hour and I pay for water. I’m not rich just yet.

To add the crazy amount of heat we are having and the on and off raining, I have been tired as ever. I have been playing catch up from having such a fun holiday weekend. That meant a lot of late nights and early mornings getting things in place and making sure things were taken care of. In reality, none of this is an excuse. I could have broken up my task and been much more productive.

So what does all of this mean? It means that Monday is going to be crazy. It means that I have another late night ahead of me. It means that I have set a standard for myself and I will not fall below it. I promised myself that I would be the best version of me I can be and I will do just that. So, I will get all my ducks in order today no matter what. I will take my butt to the gym and get serious (I have been really lax with my fitness *sad face*). I will achieve all of my goals and check off everything on my To-Do List today.

What I have learned on this journey is that we can have all the excuses in the world, but nothing changes unless we do. We can have every excuse under the sun but it doesn’t change a thing. It’s on us to make a difference in our life. And I will continue to do just that. Every day is a chance to learn something different and new. Trust I have learned a ton. I learned to stop being LAZY and stop making EXCUSES. At the end of the day things still have to be done and I’m the one that has to do them.

With all that being said, I have some things to focus on and get done. Aside from getting my to-do list taken care of, I will be going to the gym and kicking into high gear, and making sure that I’m eating what I need to knock these extra pounds off. I have come up with a list of a couple of foods to help below.

Foods that help keep the weight off:

  1. Blueberries
  2. Apples
  3. Pears
