5 Foods to speed up your metabolism

Let’s just take a moment to acknowledge that this journey is not easy. That this journey not only that’s work but effort. Even more so, this is a journey. This isn’t something that we are doing for a summer body. We are making real changes in our lives so that we are the best versions of ourselves.

Now that the peep talk is out the way, let talk about the fact that I’m tired. For some strange reason I took a nice little vacation and realized that I am more tired now than when I left for vacation. I know that you are thinking that I must have had a crazy vacation and was going wild and crazy so no wonder I am tired as ever. That would be further from the truth. I was the epitome of relaxation. If you looked up relax in the dictionary you would see my picture.

I actually took some time to get things in order and get ahead in other things. I took the time to be progressive. Not really LOL. I took time to relax. When I left I felt like nothing was going right and everything was so hard. I know this is not the way that life is supposed to be. So the vacation was right on time and everything that I needed. I took everything that I needed and did what I was supposed to do to get back on track and in order. Life was good.

So when I came back I expected life to be good. Everything was great except for the fact that I couldn’t stay awake. This was impart to 1. Not eating properly while on vacation, 2. Not drinking enough water and 3. Not working out enough and getting any physical activity. I wasn’t doing well at all in these areas. That meant it was time to get back to basics. I did just that. Eating food that I should have been for the week really slowed down my metabolism and I have to do something about it. So I came up with some foods to eat that would help me out.
