7 Ways to Speed up your Metabolism
Rumor has it that the older you get the slower your metabolism is. This isn’t promising news because we are all going to get older. I would like some light at the end of the tunnel. I want to know that the effort that I am putting in is going to get me somewhere really soon. Especially after the week that I just had.
Now, when you being to work out more often your body does start to crave more foods. Don’t think that your body is setting you up. It needs more food because food if fuel and it needs more fuel to keep it going. This is your body telling you exactly what it needs to get through the day. The problem is most times we don’t listen. We feel that because we are attempting to get fit and lose weight, eating more food is counterproductive.
The truth of the matter is, if your body is craving food, give it food. When you deprive your body of the food that it is asking for it will start to eat itself to make up for what you aren’t giving it. Now that is counterproductive. All the muscles that you took your time building will be one of the first things that it starts to eat.
So if you aren’t eating 5 – 6 meals a day, if you aren’t eating before and after working out, if have realized that your muscle don’t look like you thought they would be now … here is your answer. You aren’t giving your body the fuel it needs and it therefore is eating itself to make up for the lack.
With all the working out that you are doing your metabolism I going to pep up a little bit, but its up to you to pay attention and be in tune with your body. I have also come up with some things to help speed up your metabolism.
